- Once the list is ready, select the entire list.
5. Now go to the Home section and select the Sort option
You will then have a popup window with two primary options: ascending and descending.
By choosing Ascending, the text will be converted to a list starting with A or anything set.
6. By choosing Descending, the text will be converted to a list that starts with Z or anything that is the lowest.
The text can be sorted either way, depending on the requirement.
7. After making the selection, click OK to arrange the text.

- Open the document that has the list
- You will need to insert the list if it’s a new document. If the list is already prepared, go to the document. Select the text and then paste it on another document.
- You can start typing it directly into the document if you do not have a list. You can use a table to put the content in order or type it into the document.
- Once you have the list, you copy the entire list. If that’s the only document on the screen, you can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + A. If you have other text in the document, simply click on the first letter and then drag the mouse through the list without releasing it.

- Click on the Sort option once you have the chosen list. You will now have a popup screen.
- This popup will have information on how you would like to arrange the text.
