There are two ways in which you can insert an image into a word document. By using the insert tab on the top ribbon of the document and the other by dragging and dropping the image into the document.
How to insert an image using Insert tab in word online?
- Open the document you would like to edit. You can either log in to Officeonline or choose a file from onedrive. You can also log in to wordonline.com and start a new blank document.
- After opening the document, click the Insert tab on the top ribbon.
- Under Insert, choose the Picture option.
- Here, you will have different locations or places to choose from. You can select an image saved on your computer by clicking the This device option. Or look for pictures on the internet.
- When you select the image, click OK, and you will see the image on the document where the cursor is.
